Last Saturday the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital bid farewell to CEO Lidia Soto-Harmon. She will now helm the Student Conservation Association.

She presided over the largest council in the United States for 18 years, through Covid, quarantine, and hurricanes. She also hosted national events such as the anniversary singalongs and Rock the Mall.
